School Partnership Director

Leading Edge offers academic support and high quality before and after school programming onsite for children in early childhood, elementary and middle schools across the country.

We are looking for a Mid-Atlantic School Partnership Director who is high-energy, creative, hands-on, student-obsessed, understands what matters to district, school and charter school leaders, and has experience landing and retaining partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential districts and schools and then develop sales strategies to turn cold leads into a set of potential partners for Leading Edge
  • Adopt and use consultative sales strategies to contact and then build relationships with partners
  • Visit schools and district offices and use virtual sales meetings to drive interest
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time and attend events throughout the year
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial prospect and cold outreach through initial conversations and then final contract negotiation, preparation, and closing
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Maintain records of all sales interactions using Leading Edge’s CRM and other tools
  • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective schools and districts
  • Follow industry trends and current events to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and how they can benefit our customers

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in schools and/or districts as a teacher or district employee
  • Doctor of Education (EdD) or Masters in Education strongly preferred
  • 3+ years consultative sales experience in the K-12 industry
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Track record of consistently achieving quota
  • Proven teamwork, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Team-minded, collaborative, organized & self-sufficient
  • Ability to travel extensively

  • This position requires the ability to work remotely, including reliable Internet/Wi-Fi connection
  • A laptop, printer, and headset will be provided, if needed.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time and attend events throughout the year
