What to Know About CCAP

(Colorado’s financial assistance program for child care costs)

Did you know….?

Leading Edge accepts CCAP, a financial assistance program Colorado provides for families who meet certain eligibility requirements. For example, families who are working, receiving training or are homeless and meet income eligibility may qualify.

If you are interested in applying for CCAP, we strongly encourage you to do so this week especially if you are in need of Full Day coverage when school is out for October break and Thanksgiving.  (You can learn more about our fun and engaging full day programming here).

  • For our first Full Day program on September 16th, we are offering an introductory price of $25. Register soon to ensure your child’s space.
  • For October 14th through 18th and November 25 through 27th, when school is out, our normal full day price is $59.99 per day. However, with CCAP, you may be eligible for financial assistance to substantially defray or cover these costs.

Here is information to help you understand

who the program covers and how to apply for it.

Applying for CCAP does not commit you to utilizing Leading Edge.
You would apply for CCAP to see if you are eligible before enrolling in Leading Edge. However, you must apply to the Leading Edge school location you are planning to utilize. For example, if your child attends Fremont Elementary School and you are interested in receiving CCAP to cover some or all of the program costs for our program there, you would apply with the Fremont Elementary School CCAP number Leading Edge has been assigned.

Our CCAP numbers for D11 schools are as follows:
  • Adams Elementary School – #1783260
  • Fremont Elementary School –  #1783250
  • Keller Elementary School – #1781484
  • McAuliffe Elementary School – #1783261
  • Queen Palmer Elementary School –  #1783271
  • Rogers Elementary School –  #1781485
  • Twain Elementary School –  #1783497
